1. 6:10 PM

   Suspect rams a marked MPD cruiser head-on

   Report-only (MPD): at approximately 6:10 p.m. a driver heading southbound on Georgia Avenue drove into oncoming traffic and struck a northbound marked MPD cruiser. Not distinctly isolated in the redacted footage.

2. 6:12 PM

   Knife attack inside the cruiser; suspect demands the officer's gun

   Officer 1's BWC opens mid-struggle in the cruiser; audio captures the demand for a gun. Per MPD the suspect reached through the driver window with a knife and demanded the officer's service weapon.

3. 6:12 PM

   Officer 1 draws his firearm as the struggle continues

   Officer 1 unholsters a weapon inside the cab during the confrontation (scene pass, weapon_visible).

4. 6:12 PM

   Officer 1 fires the first shots, striking the suspect

   Report-only (MPD): the officer retreated to the passenger seat, gave commands, and fired his service weapon striking the suspect. Individual shots are not distinctly isolated in the redacted BWC; minute-level only.

5. 6:13 PM

   Officer 1 exits the cruiser and covers the scene with his weapon

   Officer 1 exits the driver door and moves around the vehicle exterior maintaining weapon cover (scene pass).

    Foot movement down the street. Radio: "subject of the knife is walking me down... he's stabbing himself with a knife" and "Copy. It's 1814." This is the broadcast wording; evidence of what was radioed, not independent proof of self-infliction.

    Officers surround a cruiser the suspect entered; commands and crossfire warnings

    Per MPD the suspect entered a second marked cruiser; officers arrive, deploy a shield, and shout commands ("Get out the car! Drop the knife! Watch the crossfire!"). MPD adds the suspect then exited and attempted to carjack a vehicle leaving a parking lot while armed.
