   Officer approaches parked truck in closed park

   Video opens on a viewer-discretion card, then Officer 1 walks across a dark parking lot toward a white pickup truck parked in a closed city park. No time-of-day wall clock is established for this file (see clocks.json).

2. 12:00 AM

   Initial contact; Subject explains he came from the hospital

   Officer 1 questions Subject about why he is parked in the closed park. Subject says he came from Mercy Hospital, where his friend/'buddy' shot himself in the head, and he had been sitting there for a minute before backing up too far and ending up in the park.

3. 12:00 AM

   License and wants check; dispatch spells subject's identity

   Officer 1 inspects Subject's driver's license and radios dispatch to run a license and wants check. Dispatch/officer spell the name letter-by-letter over the radio: first name Joshua, last name Keller, date of birth 8/25/1998, and read back an Arkansas plate/ID string.

   Officer questions how long Subject has been in the closed park

   Officer 1 tells Subject the park closes at 10 PM and points out posted closure signs. Subject says he's been there since around 6 or 8. Officer also asks if he's had anything to drink; Subject says no, and again references his friend shooting himself.

   Field sobriety (HGN) eye test administered

   Officer 1 conducts a Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus eye test on Subject with a flashlight and finger tracking, repeating the instructions and holding the light on Subject's face for an extended period. Subject complains the light is burning his scalp and that the test is taking too long.

   Officer 1 calls for backup; second officer arrives

   Officer 1 radios for a backup unit while Subject waits by his truck, then walks toward a second responding police cruiser.

7. 12:00 AM

   Subject told he is detained for DWI; argues he's grieving, not intoxicated

   Officer 1 tells Subject he is being detained for suspicion of DWI because of nystagmus and bloodshot/watery eyes on the test. Subject becomes irate, saying he is crying and irate because his friend shot himself, not because he is intoxicated, and that crying shouldn't cause nystagmus.

   Officer moves to arrest; Subject resists

   Officer 1 orders Subject out of the vehicle and to put his hands behind his back. Subject pulls away, shouting "No!" and "Get the fuck off of me," resisting the arrest.

   Subject suddenly gets into his pickup truck.
